What Changes the Cost of an Empty Leg
The operator sets an empty leg's price, and it moves as departure gets closer. These are the factors behind it, and your quote lays out the whole cost before you book.
- How big the jet is
- Even discounted, an empty leg on a super-midsize or heavy jet runs higher than one on a light jet, since the cabin is larger and it burns more fuel.
- Days until departure
- An unsold leg often gets cheaper as the date approaches. Holding out can lower the price, but fewer flights remain.
- Asking for a different route or time
- Moving the departure earlier or later, or to another airport, raises the price. Change enough and it turns into a standard charter.
- Add-ons you request
- Catering, a car on arrival or an extra stop go in only if you ask, and each shows up as its own line on the quote.

What if the original charter is canceled or rescheduled?
Your empty leg may shift or vanish as well. That is the main risk, and we raise it before you book. If it happens, we phone you with choices, often a different empty leg or a regular charter quote, and you pick.
What happens if the jet has a mechanical issue?

Can my return trip be an empty leg as well?

Yes, pets are allowed. Give us the size and breed on the call so we can make sure the aircraft and crew are set for them. Small and medium dogs usually sit in the cabin with you.
