ServicesLight Jet Charter
Light Jet Charter in Edinburgh, IN
A light jet is the right size for four to seven passengers going a few hundred to about a thousand miles. We price your trip point to point, send photos of the actual aircraft before you commit, and put every fee in one all-inclusive quote.

When to Choose a Light Jet
Light jets are compact and fast, and they cost less per hour than bigger cabins. Most carry four to seven passengers for roughly two to three hours before needing fuel. That gets you to Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta or New York, or to Florida with one brief stop.
They can also land on shorter runways than larger jets, so you can often fly into a smaller airport near your destination instead of driving in from a big hub.
What you give up is room. The cabin is for sitting, not standing, the lavatory is compact, and luggage should be soft and reasonable. For a bigger group or a coast-to-coast trip, we'll say so and steer you to our Midsize Jet Charter or Super-Midsize Jet Charter options.
What Comes With a Light Jet Charter
- A single all-inclusive price
- Our figure already covers fuel, crew, landing fees, FBO fees and taxes. Nothing hidden appears once the flight is done.
- Priced point to point
- You're charged for the trip you fly. On a one-way flight, you never pay round trip pricing for a return you don't need.
- Pictures of your actual jet
- We send interior and exterior photos of the exact jet on your trip before you book, so you see its cabin, seats and bag space instead of a stock image.
- Pets and Wi-Fi
- Pets can fly with you. If you need to work during the flight, we can pair you with a Wi-Fi equipped aircraft.
- A fallback if the jet is grounded
- When a mechanical issue keeps your aircraft on the ground, our mechanical insurance covers up to 100% of the replacement flight cost.
When a Light Jet Suits the Trip
A small group is flying
Two to six travelers with carry-ons and a couple of roller bags fit well. Beyond that, a midsize cabin tends to be more comfortable.
You'll be in the air under three hours
A light jet saves you the most on short and mid-length trips. You fly at jet speed without paying for range you don't need.
You're coming back the same day
Fly out in the morning for a meeting or site visit and be home for dinner. The crew can wait for you, or we price two one-way legs, whichever is cheaper.
Airline times don't fit your day
Maybe there's no nonstop, the layover is long, or the drive to a major airport takes half your day. A light jet departs when you're ready.
You're packing light
Many models have room for golf clubs or skis, though not all of them. Let us know what's coming and we'll check the baggage hold before we quote.

Your quote shows the aircraft, the route and each fee. When you approve it, we lock in the crew and the departure FBO.

What Moves the Price of a Light Jet
A light jet is one of the lower-cost ways to fly private, but no two trips price the same. Here is what changes the number. We walk you through it on the phone and put it all in writing.
- Flight time and distance
- Most of the cost is hours in the air. A fuel stop adds time and landing fees.
- Where the jet is positioned
- If the nearest available aircraft has to fly in to pick you up, that repositioning can be part of the cost. We look for a jet already close by.
- Overnights and wait time
- If the crew stays with you overnight, expect crew lodging and a daily fee. Sometimes two one-way legs cost less, and we will check both.
- Date and demand
- Holiday weekends and big event dates book up fast and cost more. More notice usually means more choices.
- Which airports you use
- FBO fees and landing fees vary a lot from one field to the next. A nearby smaller airport can trim the bill.
Questions About Light Jet Charter
Something not covered here? (812) 578-8974
How many passengers can a light jet carry?
Usually four to seven. Six fits most groups with normal luggage comfortably. When you're near the limit, we check weight and bags before quoting so no one is left behind on the day.
How long can a light jet fly nonstop?
About two to three hours, based on the model, the weather and the cabin load. That covers much of the eastern U.S. without stopping. For longer trips you may need a short fuel stop, or a midsize jet may be the better choice.
Can my dog fly with me?
Yes, pets are welcome. Let us know how many and how big when you call, and we'll clear it with the operator so nothing comes up at the FBO.
What if the jet develops a mechanical issue?
We get you a different aircraft. Our mechanical insurance covers up to 100% of the replacement flight cost, so you won't pay twice because a jet is grounded.
Is there anything to sign up for before booking?
No. You won't find long term commitments or prepaid accounts. Call, approve a single quote and fly. That's how we've arranged charters for 5 years.
Should I pick a light jet or a turboprop?
A light jet is quicker and flies higher, which pays off on longer trips and in bumpy weather. A turboprop may be cheaper on short flights and can use even shorter runways. We can price both, and our Turboprop Charter page compares them.
